A Proud Moment – Our NETG Nominations Are In!

We are delighted to announce the following NETG nominations for 2025-26

• The Peter Jones Award for Technical achievement for the Lighting, sound, projections in White Christmas

• The Dave Ross Adjudicators Award for the excellent ensemble chorus in Jesus Christ Superstar for their energy, sincerity and movement

• Best Young Actress - Olivia Reynolds for Susan Waverley in White Christmas

• The Bentley Green Players Award for Best Supporting Actor, we have two nominations

  • one for David Slater as General Waverly in White Christmas and

  • one for Stewart Adkins as Caiaphas in Jesus Christ Superstar

• Best Supporting Actress for Corrina Groombridge as Martha Watson in White Christmas

• The Joyce lucking Shield for Best Actor and we have three nominations;

  • one for Nick Skinner and Phil Davis in White Christmas,

  • one for Thomas Pleasant as Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar and

  • one for Michael Bardo as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar

• The Anne Sexton Award for Best Actress and we have two nominations:

  • one for Amy Marsh as Betty Haynes in White Christmas

  • one for Leanne Barber as Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar

• The Peter and Jacque Collyer Cup for Best Production for Jesus Christ Superstar directed by Jimmy Hooper

• The Timmins Award for Music for Gerald Hines for his musical direction of White Christmas

• The Terry Sadler Memorial Cup for front of house for Jesus Christ Superstar

Our Junior Society WOW! has also been successful with numerous nominations for their recent production of Beauty and the Beast. Congratulations to all those who have been nominated.
